"Are you coming?" Everybody said "Yeah!" This outdoor class is a picnic. The last time we went to the Otago peninsula and the chocolate factory. Both of them were so plesant. In this picnic the all students of the school and the director's son and daughter joined togheter. We talked about movies, boyfriends, or the differences of our cultures while havin lunch outside. We often have a outdoor class to learn the real English like this in my school. This school teaches us not only english but also the cultures.

The Dunedin Station in the second
largese city of South Island.
My school, The Dunedin language school, is in the center of Dunedin, the second largest city in the South island. Most students come from Asia, and they are studying here to enter a high school or university. Under ten people study together in a class. I was a student of this school last year and learned many things there, now I'm making this homepages in Kyoto, Japan.

At a house in the upper the Stafford St. , Mr&Mrs, Bray were my host parents. They took care of two university students from a city next to Dunedin and from Taiwan besides me. I experienced the real life of New Zealanders. I helped my host mother, Helen, to make dinner and learned how to make some New Zealand food. Then we always had dinner together and talked daily happenings with each other. After dinner I got my host father, John, to help my homework. Every weekend they took us to the sea, botanical gardens, farms and so on. They treated me as a their real daughter. I think they are my parents in New Zealand.

In the center of the city I was so impressed with the beauty of the traditional buildings like the Otago university, the station, churches, and so on. Also they have a nice parks and wonderful beaches. I think the town of Dunedin is like a real museum.

Thanks to this school, host family and also Dunedin, I felt the kindness of the people and knew the beauty of this country. I learned a lot in New Zealand. I'd like to introduce such a wonderful country to people in Japan by this web. On the other hand, I'm planning to introduce Japan, especially Kyoto, the old and traditional city, by this web.

I'm really interested in education especially teaching English. I think it's important for language learners to know it's culture and real life at first. So I'm looking forward to the new high school,The King Edward International High School founded by Mr, Alex who is also the director of the language school in Dunedin. I hope that the exchange between native and overseas students will be active.

In the near future I'd like to build a bridge of the cultural exchange between New Zealand and Japan then exchange useful information on education or traveling by this web. What do you think about that? If you are interested in my ideas or in Japan, please let me know your opinion and ask me anything. I'm looking forward to your interest and cooperation.
