Japan's First "Reverse Bungee Jump" Tower is Built in Fushimi
Thirty-one meter jump

The reverse bungee jump is launched high into the air by using the elastic power of rubber.

Recently, Japan's first "Reverse Bungee Jump Tower", which uses a strong rubber to launch passengers into the sky, was built at Bungee Jump DAIGO, Momoyama-cho, Fushimi Ward, Kyoto City.

A rubber wire, which is strung between two steel 26 meter towers, is pulled down to its greatest point of elasticity. The wire is then released, sending the two-seat cabin into the air up to 31 meters. The ride was developed in the United States in 1993 and was set-up at several locations as a mobile ride. The ride in Fushimi is the first permanent "Reverse Bungee Jump Tower."
